Jagdish Parikh

Education & Career
Dr. Parikh is a professor, businessman and an author, and has a profound knowledge of management gathered from business environments all over the world. He is a popular international speaker on management.

Dr. Parikh is currently the Chairman of A.L. Movers Pvt. Ltd. (Allied Lemuir), a Director of the Lemuir Group of Companies, DHL Danzas Lemuir, Technova Group of Companies and Noema Inc.  He has worked in several honorary capacities for the Government of India as Chairman of FFC, now National Film Development Corporation (co-producer of the multiple Oscar winning film GANDHI); Vice Chairman of the Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism and in other advisory roles.

Dr. Parikh has an MBA from Harvard and a PhD in Management.
In addition to his several corporate hats, Dr. Parikh has also dabbled into the world of film and media, and co-produced the Oscar winning movie Gandhi.

Boards and Memberships
Dr Parikh is a co-founder of the World Business Academy (USA); Member of the Board of Governors of the Asian Institute of Management (Manila); Founding President of the Centre for Executive Renewal (Switzerland) and Managing Trustee of the Education Foundation of India.

Books
Dr Parikh is the author of "Managing Your Self: Management by Detached Involvement" and "Managing Relationships: Making a life while making a living".

He is the lead-author of "Intuition: The New Frontier of Management"; and co-author of "Beyond Leadership: Balancing Economics, Ethics and Ecology". He has also produced a multi-media interactive CD ROM on "Managing Your Self."
